I'm not really a dancer. Improvisational dance?? Really outside my comfort zone. Still I had a couple friends who said I had to try the Friday night Group Motion dance workshop in Philadelphia for a First. My friend Loraine Ballard Morrill went with me.

The music is live. You pay 20 dollars to move creatively with the group that's been meeting like this for over 40 years!

I eventually got into it. I swayed, I skipped, I aped other dancers. I don't know what I did but at some point I started to trust I was safe and enjoyed. The group talks after the dance.

A very interesting night. I met such nice warm people who guided and welcomed me into their dance. All I can say is I left happy and relaxed and felt good about the world.
