From rowing on the river to summer weekends down the shore to the Mummer’s Parade, Justin Pizzi gets Philly. He joined the NBC 10 News team in December 2004, but was born and spent most of his life in the city that he loves.

Justin went to St. Joe’s Prep, then went on to study broadcast journalism at Syracuse University. He worked full-time during his last two years of college anchoring and reporting at Newsradio 570-WSYR, where the highlight was field anchoring from the 2000 Republican Convention in, of course, Philadelphia. Justin got his first TV reporting job at WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y., then moved on to WBRE in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton.

Justin lives in Center City (lived through the Swine Flu) and loves getting his heart ripped out of his chest by Philadelphia’s sports teams, checking out new BYOB’s with his friends and spending time with his family down the shore.

Justin recruited four people with very different weight loss goals and with the help of a professional fitness trainer and coach, put them through a grueling, 10-week boot camp.
