John Clark

John Clark joined the NBC 10 News team in September of 2001 as a Weekend Sports Anchor. Prior to joining NBC 10, Clark was a sports anchor and reporter for WPTV-TV, an NBC station in West Palm Beach, Fla. Before working at WPTV, Clark was a sports anchor and reporter for WMGM TV NBC 40 in Atlantic City, N.J.
During his time as a sports reporter for NBC 10, Clark has earned two nominations for Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards. In 2004, he won the award for Outstanding Individual Achievement for Reporter/Sports. Clark was again honored in 2005 as the reporter for “Philadelphia’s Paralympians,” which was nominated for Outstanding Sports News/Features or Series.
While growing up in Wallingford, Pa., Clark used to imitate legendary Phillies announcer Harry Kalas. He graduated from Strath Haven High School and Temple University. Prior to graduation, Clark interned for WB 17, Fox 29 and Temple’s Channel 54 before starting his broadcasting career. He is an active volunteer for the Special Olympics and has become more passionate about the events since his brother began competing in them.
Clark resides in Montgomery County, Pa.
