Deanna Durante

Deanna Durante joined the NBC 10 News Team on May 2, 2005, as a general assignment reporter.
Prior to Durante’s arrival at NBC 10, she was a reporter and weekend anchor at WITI-TV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before that, she worked as an anchor and reporter at KARK-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas. She won several awards for journalistic excellence including Best Feature (Arkansas Associated Press) and Best Newscast (Associated Press Award). Durante began her television career as an anchor and reporter at KHAS-TV in Hastings, Nebraska. In 2008, Durante was nominated for two Mid-Atlantic Emmy awards.
A native of Conshohocken, PA, Durante graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School where she was a news reporter for the school district’s station, Colonial Instructional Television (CITV) during her freshman year. At that point, she knew she was destined to be a television news reporter.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Durante earned her degree in broadcast journalism.
Her hobbies include running, biking, and she enjoys designing glass Christmas ornaments which she donates to a variety of charities. While working in Wisconsin, Durante volunteered with the Humane Society and Gilda’s Club.
Durante and her husband, Tim live in the Philadelphia area.
