Now, former workers have come forward to Lu Ann Cahn and the NBC10 Investigators with serious allegations while the shelter and its volunteers defend their record.

At the end of the year, the city is ending PACCA's contract. The agency is fighting for a new contract, but some former workers said it's time for the animal shelter to go.
