Research tells us fourteen out of any ten individuals likes chocolate. ~Sandra Boynton

A few weeks ago I passed by Lore’s Chocolates on 7th Street and walked into chocolate heaven. This is the real stuff, handmade by 1st and second generation chocolatiers in Philadelphia for the last 50 years.

They say their secret is really no secret: just simple, high quality ingredients. I swear, you can”t buy this in a grocery store.

This morning (before I went to my real job), Tony Walter agreed to have me come in for a first hand experience on their manufacturing assembly line. Okay, it was just a little practice run for me. SWEET!

The good thing about great chocolate, no matter how it looks it tastes the same. To die for! My “ugly” chocolates lasted about five minutes in the newsroom.

I found out this hometown chocolatier specializes in making just about anything you can imagine out of chocolate. They take all sorts of special orders. Hmmm.
