Claudia Rivero

Claudia Rivero joined NBC10 in 2009. Previously she was with KTVK in Phoenix, Arizona and Univision's KTVW in Phoenix. While at KTVK Rivero was the recipient of two Rocky Mountain Emmys and two Associated Press Awards.

Rivero attended the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. She is a strong supporter of the James Alan Cox Foundation, which provides scholarships to students aspiring to become photographers. The foundation was started in honor of news photographer James Cox, a dear friend of Rivero’s who was killed when two news helicopters collided in mid-air in 2007.

In her spare time Rivero enjoys traveling, concerts, learning different languages, and most importantly spending time with her family.
