News Director Anzio Williams Joins NBC10 Philadelphia

NBC10 announced today that Anzio Williams will be joining the station as Vice President of News effective July 16, 2012.

NBC10 announced today that Anzio Williams will be joining the station as Vice President of News effective July 16, 2012. 

Williams joins NBC10 from KCRA in Sacramento, Ca., where he spent five years as the News Director for the station. Prior to that, he fulfilled the same role at WDSU in New Orleans, La., and was there when Hurricane Katrina hit the area. Williams also served as Assistant News Director at WESH in Orlando, FL and WCNC in Charlotte, NC.

Williams is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast News. 

Williams is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.  He has served on many community boards and committees such as The American Diabetes Association, BloodSource and 100 Black Men of Sacramento.
