Lori Wilson
Lori Wilson joined NBC10 in 2005 as a general assignment reporter. She can currently be seen co-anchoring NBC10 News Today (Monday-Friday from 4:30-7am) and anchoring NBC10 News at 11am (Monday-Friday at 11am). An Emmy-nominated host and anchor, Wilson also spent four years co-hosting The 10! Show.
Before joining NBC10, Wilson worked as a morning anchor, weekend anchor, entertainment reporter and general assignment reporter at WGCL in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining WGCL, Wilson was a news anchor and health reporter for KSLA in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Wilson’s love for writing and storytelling is what led her to choose a career as a television news broadcaster. In 1997, while working as an intern at WGCL (formerly WGNX), she landed her first television-broadcasting job at WCIA in Champaign, Illinois.
A native of Columbus, Indiana, Wilson has a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Wilson enjoys mentoring the next generation of journalists, is currently the co-chair of the broadcast ministry at her church, and is a board member for The IDEA Performing Arts Center in Camden. She resides in the Philadelphia area.
