Justin Pizzi joined NBC10 in 2004, and was born and spent most of his life in the city that he loves.
He attended St. Joe’s Prep then went on to study broadcast journalism at Syracuse University. During his last two years of college he worked full-time anchoring and reporting at Newsradio 570-WSYR. His first TV reporting job was at WBNG in Binghamton, NY, followed by WBRE in Wilkes-Barre Scranton. He received a Masters in Business Administration from Drexel University in December 2010.
Pizzi won a Regional Emmy Award for his 2009 series and half-hour show, “Be a 10 in 10 Weeks.” With the help a professional fitness trainer and coach, he recruited four people with very different weight loss goals, and put them through a grueling, 10-week boot camp.
Pizzi lives in Center City and loves getting his heart ripped out of his chest by Philadelphia’s sports teams, checking out new BYOB’s with his friends and spending time with his family down the shore.
