Dave Warren joined NBC10 as a weekend meteorologist and weather producer in 2003. Prior to joining NBC10, Warren was chief meteorologist at KPAX-TV in Missoula, Montana. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.

Warren has been an active member of the American Meteorological Society since 1999. In early 2006, the American Meteorological Society named him a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM), the highest honor a TV meteorologist can attain.

In 2005, Warren assisted NBC 10 Chief Meteorologist Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz in developing H.O.P.E.S., a program created by Schwartz to mentor minority students who are passionate about the field of earth science and meteorology.

Warren participates in several athletic activities, including golfing, running and weight lifting.  He is also a member of the NBC 10 softball team.  Warren, being an Eagle Scout, loves mentoring local cub and boy scouts.  As a Weather Badge Counselor, Warren works with boy scouts to help them receive their weather merit badge or communications pin.

Having grown up in the Philadelphia suburb of Havertown, Warren is no stranger to NBC 10.    In the summer of 1997, he was an intern in the station’s weather department.  Warren currently resides in Delaware County with his wife.
