Someone stole a man’s wheelchair from right in front of him overnight.

The man says he was sitting on his front steps around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday near 41st Street and Girard Avenue in West Philadelphia when a man in dark clothing came up and took the wheelchair.

The unidentified 45-year-old victim can’t walk well and needs to chair to go longer distances, according to authorities.

He wasn’t able to catch the thief.

According to Philadelphia Police, the wheelchair, which has “PNH” written on the back, is valued around $200.

Anyone who spots the chair or know anything about the theft should contact Philadelphia Police.
