WATCH: Zombie Scarecrow Terrorizes Philly in Scary But Funny Viral Clip

If you spot a silly scarecrow walking through the streets of Philly this Halloween, think twice before you laugh and take pictures with him. A terrifying, flesh-eating zombie could be behind the smiling mask.

That’s the premise of a scary, but funny prank video shot in the streets of Philadelphia. The video shows popular YouTube prankster Ed Bassmaster wearing a goofy scarecrow mask and greeting people at various spots in Philly.

As the unsuspecting Philadelphians smile and take photos, Bassmaster removes his mask, revealing a face covered in zombie makeup.

Reactions in the video range from horrified screams to hysterical laughter. Yet perhaps the best, and arguably most “Philly” reaction, comes from a man near the halfway point of the clip. Rather than scream in terror as Bassmaster takes off his mask, the man picks up a skateboard and repeatedly tells the “zombie” to back up. Bassmaster then runs away as the man yells towards him, “ain’t nobody running from that!” If there’s ever a zombie apocalypse, hopefully the skateboard-wielding Philadelphian will be around to protect us.

It’s not the first Halloween-themed Philly prank from Bassmaster that’s gone viral. Last month he walked through Philly wearing Vampire makeup. The reactions, as you could imagine, were equally hilarious.
