See why NFLers want to donate their brains and take a look at our list of must-reads that will have you chatting at the lunch counter, over IM or wherever it is that people actually talk these days...

  • Three NFL players joined a number of former pro athletes who will donate their brains to a Boston University program that researches sports brain injuries. Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu and Arizona Cardinals receiver Sean Morey said today they will donate their brains and spinal cord tissue to the medical school's program. More than 150 ex-athletes have signed on to the program's brain donation registry.

  • A German couple is planning to put copulating corpses on display. The bodies are prepared by removing water from the corpses and preserving them with silicon rubber or epoxy resin. The sex exhibition is set for next year and will feature the corpses in compromising positions.

  • A 107-year-old woman is set to get married for the 23rd time because she's afraid her current husband, a drug addict, will leave her for a younger woman. The Malaysian woman married the man who is 70 years younger than she is and now has begun to voice concern that her looks could be a turn off for her latest beau.

  • Unhealthy personality traits can send you to an early grave. Cynicism, for example, can lead to heart disease. Those with lack of meaning in life tend to check out of the game earlier than their meaning-seeking counterparts. Anxiety-ridden folks are more likely to develop dementia caused by Alzheimers or other diseases. Prolonged stress can be deadly.
