Police in Delaware arrested a 24-year-old man after linking him to an underwear theft over the weekend.
New Castle County Police said that just after midnight Sunday morning, they were called to the Lancaster Court Apartments on Court Drive to investigate a burglary.
It appeared that someone broke in through a window of an apartment and took several pairs of women’s undergarments. The underwear was later recovered near the scene.
Investigators uncovered evidence that linked Manuel Duran, who lives in the same apartment complex, to the crime, police said.
Police say Duran turned himself in Monday. He is charged with second-degree burglary, criminal mischief and two counts of theft.
