Cow Dies, Teen Driver Hurt When Vehicle Hits Bovine Along Pennsylvania Road

A cow died and a driver was injured when his vehicle hit the bovine along a rural southwestern Pennsylvania road.

State police said 19-year-old Michael Wilson Jr. was driving on Bull Run Road in Luzerne Township when he hit the cow about 10 p.m. Sunday.

Police haven't said who owns the cow or how it managed to wander onto the road about 35 miles south of Pittsburgh.

Wilson was flown to UPMC Presbyterian hospital. A spokeswoman says he was in good condition on Monday.
