A 41-year-old Bridgeport man apparently could not find a thing to wear when he went to the dentist because he showed up in the buff and shocked the female receptionist, police said.

Christopher Hoff was nude -- and five days late -- when he showed up Monday at Optimus Dental in Stratford, the Connecticut Post reports. When the receptionist screamed, Hoff took his birthday suit and ran out, police said.

Later, cops went to his home, where the found him, dressed. He said had been home sleeping all day, the Post reports, but police drove him back to the dental office where the receptionist identified him.

"His eyes are very blue and he has a good tan," the woman told officers. Hoff was charged with disorderly conduct and public indecency.
