City Worker Accused of Stealing Road Salt, Supplies

A Woodstock city worker is accused to stealing much more that office supplies from his employer.

Police say Dale A. Behm, 55, took a ton of road salt and two snow plow skids from the city, according to the Northwest Herald.

Behm, Woodstocks street supervisor who's been on the city payroll for 36 years, is charged with felony theft.

Behm was suspended without pay and his future employment status with the city is unclear.

If convicted, he could spend up to three years in prison, the newspaper reported.
