Sheen's Internship Offer Gets Huge Response

74,000 want the gig

We now know how many people responded to the offer of an internship at Charlie Sheen, inc. Are you sitting down?

According to Internship.com, in the first two days since Sheen posted the offer on its site, more than 74,000 people have applied. The gig, in case you missed it the first time around, is a social media internship, working for the former TV star turned fastest-ever-to-a-million-followers on Twitter.

It's a paid job; Sheen himself saying he needs someone to help him handle all the attention that's come his way in the social media world. In a fitting touch, the application asks you to keep the "Why I should get the job" part to 75 words or less.

We'll keep following this, and eventually let you know who gets it. Just know that if you haven't applied yet, there's a long line ahead of you.

Scott is resigned to keeping his current job. He's on Twitter: @scottbudman
