Philadelphia's tech employment options have increased 30 percent since 2009, but the city still doesn't have enough jobs for all its local talent, a new report says.
CBRE recently conducted a study examining the tech workforce and employment trends in the Philadelphia region. The report, which looked at most U.S. Census Bureau statistics between 2009 and 2014, found that Philadelphia's tech jobs increased more than all Pennsylvania and New Jersey suburban counties.
Compared to Philadelphia's 30-percent growth, Pennsylvania suburban counties, including Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware, together grew tech jobs by 11 percent.
