Less than four months after launching its home-repair business, Seattle-based Amazon announced Wednesday it will expand the service to Philadelphia, along with 14 other metropolitan regions.
“Amazon Home Services makes buying a service as easy as buying a product on Amazon,” said Nish Lathia, General Manager of Amazon Home Services, in a news release.
Similar to Angie's List, customers can search for local painters, electricians, contractors and others to complete repair jobs.
