Philly Seeks Feedback on Revamped Website

The city of Philadelphia is updating its website and looking for some public input beginning Tuesday.

Philadelphia Chief Innovation Officer Adel Ebeid says the idea is to give the public an opportunity to review the re-vamped web site before it is officially put into use.

"It's time for a new website and it's time to kick off the process of how we are going to get there," he said. "So there's a whole team behind the scene that put together a fantastic prototype that we would like to share with the public."

Ebeid says this isn't just a draft, some parts were purposely left undone.

"It's intentionally incomplete because we don't want to stifle any feedback or stifle any opportunity for innovation so we want to leave it bare-bones so it keeps getting better every two weeks as we keep getting feedback from the public."

The test version of the site will be available at alpha.phila.gov.
