Cops Infiltrate P2P Network, Bust Man for Child Porn

Man came up from Bolivia to visit family for the holidays

A Delaware County man has been charged in a child pornography case after authorities say they infiltrated a private file-sharing network.

David Walton, 35, used the peer-to-peer network to disseminate at least 50 sexual images of children, some as young as 3-year-old, Delaware County authorities said.

Investigators used new high-tech software to access the private network, District Attorney G. Michael Green said Thursday.

Walton faces charges including possession and dissemination of child pornography. He was arrested at his sister's home in Marcus Hook on Wednesday.

Donna Walton said her brother was visiting her family for the holidays from Boliva.

"He's not allowed in this house ever again," she said.

Walton was being held Thursday in lieu of $500,000 bail. It could not immediately be determined if he had an attorney.
