Sixers Injury Update: Joel Embiid to Miss Next 2 Games

Joel Embiid still isn't ready to go.

The Sixers' star center is out for tonight's game against the Spurs and tomorrow's game in Orlando against the Magic. Embiid (knee) won't travel with the team to Florida.

On Wednesday at shootaround, Embiid participated in a light workout in a limited fashion, mostly shooting three-pointers. He was also wearing goggles, but there was no indication there was anything wrong with his eyes.

After tonight's game, Embiid will have played just one game in the last 10.

Richaun Holmes (upper respiratory infection) is questionable for tonight's game.

The Sixers are facing the Spurs tonight for the second time in a week, and while they'll be without Embiid and potentially Holmes, they will have Robert Covington, Nerlens Noel and Gerald Henderson, who all missed last Thursday's 16-point loss in San Antonio.
