Philly Brewery to Start Serving a Beer Named ‘Trust the Process'

It's a bold move to name a beer "Trust the Process," hinting to true Process believers that your beer is going to taste pretty awful if you drink it today, but if you age it for 2-3 years there's a chance it could turn out truly exquisite.

And that's exactly what the people at Evil Genius Beer Company did with one of their IPAs.

Except they, much like Sixers fans, want the beer to be delicious today.

And it probably is if you're familiar with the handy work of Evil Genius.

The Evil Genius crew's long anticipated brewery is set to open along Front Street in Fishtown is expected to open at the end of the month and they should have Trust the Process IPA on tap when it does.

3 observations after Sixers fall in devastating Game 2 loss to Knicks

"We really wanted to brew this beer because with us opening in Philadelphia and being such big sports fans," Evil Genius founder Trevor Hayward told Philly Voice. "We went through our own process expanding the company and especially building the brewery. I think people are going to enjoy it – maybe we can remind Sixers fans that sometimes patience pays off."

They're certainly not the first local beer company to go with a sports-themed beer. Nodding Head has brewed a 700 Level beer for ages and you may remember Conshy Brewing's Ghost beer that caused a buzz a few months back.

Either way, a Process-themed beer is a bold move but if there's one thing that can help you through a Sixers game in 2017, it's beer.
