Amile Jefferson, Frank Mason III Among Latest Round of Sixers Pre-draft Workouts

Amile Jefferson is coming home … for a pre-draft workout.

Jefferson, a Philadelphia native who played his high school ball at Friends Central, is one of six prospects, including National Player of the Year, Frank Mason III, that will work out for the Sixers on Monday morning in their latest batch of pre-draft workouts at their practice facility in Camden, New Jersey.

Jefferson and Mason will be joined by guards Jabari Bird (California), James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana) and Marquise Moore (George Mason) and forward Derek Willis (Kentucky).

A 2012 McDonald's All-American, Jefferson played his college ball at Duke University. He averaged 6.4 points and 5.7 rebounds as a bench player on Duke's 2014-15 national championship team as a junior but a foot injury limited him in his senior year.

Jefferson received a medical redshirt and returned for a fifth year. He averaged 10.9 points and 8.4 rebounds for the Blue Devils last season. Duke lost to Oregon in the Sweet 16 .

Mason scored 20.9 points per game, shooting 49 percent from the field and draining 47.1 percent of his threes. He also averaged 4.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists in his senior season at Kansas.
