Today's Lineup: Michael Saunders Returns, Will Bat Sixth

The Phillies come into Saturday's matchup (4:05 p.m./TCN/CSNPhilly.com/NBC Sports App) on the heels of blowing a 4-2 lead in the seventh inning of a 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Pete Mackanin's lineup today won't differ greatly from Friday's. Odubel Herrera, fresh off a two-hit night, will continue to lead off in the absence of Cesar Hernandez. Herrera has had a strong month of June, hitting .344 this month with 13 extra-base hits (see game notes).

The only changes are in the outfield and behind the plate. Scuffling Michael Saunders will get the start in right. Saunders has just one hit in his last 26 at-bats. Thursday night's hero Ty Kelly replaced Saunders in the lineup Friday. Kelly went 0 for 4.

Andrew Knapp will get the nod behind the plate. Knapp, who came into the season as the team's clear backup, has stolen from at-bats from incumbent starter Cameron Rupp. Knapp has started behind the plate in 14 of the Phils' last 30 games.

Here is the rest of today's lineup:
1. Odubel Herrera, CF
2. Howie Kendrick, 2B
3. Aaron Altherr, LF
4. Tommy Joseph, 1B
5. Maikel Franco, 3B
6. Michael Saunders, RF
7. Andrew Knapp, C
8. Freddy Galvis, SS
9. Jerad Eickhoff, P
