Just after first pitch Sunday afternoon, the Phillies announced an addition to their organizational pitching depth.

The club claimed RHP Phil Klein off of waivers from Texas. Klein was placed on the 40-man roster and optioned to Triple A.

Klein, 27, was designated for assignment on June 9.
