Utley's Next: Remembering Some Great Philadelphia Homecomings

Tuesday marks an event that many Philadelphians hoped they'd never see. Chase Utley will play against the Philadelphia Phillies instead of for them.

But it's not the first time one of the most beloved athletes in Philadelphia sports history returns to take on the team he became legendary playing his heart out for.

Allen Iverson returning as a member of the Denver Nuggets was strange. Brian Dawkins playing at the Linc for the Denver Broncos was odd. And Jimmy Rollins coming to the plate at CBP wearing Dodger Blue didn't look right.

Utley doing the same tomorrow night will be no different. And the ovation will no doubt be loud.

How do you think Utley's reception will be relative to the three legends mentioned above? Here's a reminder of the warm welcome those guys received on their return's to the City of Brotherly Love.
