The Chase Daniel World Tour is underway.
Daniel, the former Eagles backup quarterback, visited the Saints on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Now, Daniel is visiting the Jets on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Eagles cut Daniel a week ago after the veteran asked for his release. Here is part of the statement Eagles VP of football operations Howie Roseman released after the move:
"After a healthy discussion with Chase, we both felt like it was best to move forward in a different direction as circumstances have changed since he originally signed. We greatly appreciate Chase's time here and wish him well as he continues his football career."
Daniel, 30, reportedly wants a chance to fight for a starting job, which seems slightly more difficult to do in New Orleans, where some guy named Drew Brees is pretty established. In fact, Daniel was Brees' backup from 2010-2012.

His chances of winning a starting job with the Jets seem much greater.
And the Eagles will be rooting for Daniel the whole way, specifically for him to get a big contract. Daniel's deal with the Eagles reportedly included offset language, so the bigger the deal he gets elsewhere, the more money the Eagles save in dead money.
Just last year the Eagles made Daniel the highest paid backup in the league, when they signed him to a three-year, $21 million deal. He was a big help to Carson Wentz during his one year in Philadelphia, but was probably much less necessary in Wentz's Year 2.
The Eagles brought in Nick Foles to take Daniel's place as Wentz's backup.
