OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran cornerbacks Brandon Boykin and Al-Hajj Shabazz on Monday and terminated the contract of cornerback Kyle Arrington because he failed a physical.
Boykin, 26, has played four NFL seasons. He appeared in 64 games with seven starts for the Philadelphia Eagles (2012-14) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2015). He missed last season after tearing a pectoral muscle in training camp with the Chicago Bears.
Boykin has 131 tackles (116 solo), eight interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, 37 passes defensed, two sacks, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Shabazz, 24, appeared in seven games with the Steelers and one with the Houston Texans in 2016.
Arrington, 30, suffered a concussion last August and spent the season on injured reserve. He originally signed a three-year, $7 million contract in 2015. His release opens up $2.1 million in salary cap space (see full story).
49ers: Pass rusher Elvis Dumervil signs
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The San Francisco 49ers have bolstered their pass rush by signing Elvis Dumervil.

General manager John Lynch announced the move Monday to bring in his former Denver teammate. He said the team "added another stud to harass QBs."
The 33-year-old Dumervil has 99 career sacks in 10 seasons with the Broncos and Baltimore. He had a career-low three sacks last season for the Ravens when he was limited to eight games because of an Achilles injury. Dumervil was cut in March.
The 49ers have been seeking an outside pass rusher this offseason. Dumervil has recorded 17 sacks in both 2009 and `14 -- more than every current member of the Niners other than linebacker Ahmad Brooks (53 1/2 sacks) (see full story).
Seahawks: Austin Davis signed for depth at QB
RENTON, Wash. -- The Seahawks' search for some depth at quarterback has led them to journeyman Austin Davis.
Seattle released Jake Heaps to make room on the roster for Davis, who was signed Monday after spending time with the Rams, Browns and Broncos.
The 28-year-old Davis will be added to the backup competition with Trevone Boykin, last year's No. 2 behind starter Russell Wilson.
Davis is in his sixth NFL season after entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi in 2012.
Davis has appeared in 13 regular-season games with the Rams and Browns, including 10 starts. He has gone 236-for-378 for 2,548 yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He spent part of last season with Denver (see full story).
