Eagles Waive WRs Keevan Lucas, David Watford, CB Tay Glover-Wright

The Eagles on Saturday afternoon waived wide receivers Keevan Lucas and David Watford and cornerback Tay Glover-Wright.

Watford joined the Eagles last summer as an undrafted free agent out of Hampton University and spent last season on the Eagles' practice squad.

In three preseason games this year, Watford had four catches for 24 yards - picking up two catches for 12 yards in Bills and Packers games.

Lucas signed with the Eagles on Aug. 12. He went undrafted out of Tulsa and was with the Eagles on a tryout during rookie minicamp in the spring. He was one of Eagles quarterback Dane Evans' favorite targets in college.

The Eagles signed Glover-Wright, 25, on July 31 to a one-year contract. When he signed, cornerback was one of the Eagles' weakest links, but they have since acquired Ronald Darby from the Buffalo Bills.

On Sept. 2, the Eagles have to get their roster down to their 53-man roster.
