Eagles Sign WR Keevan Lucas; Waive LB Steven Daniels

The Eagles made a minor roster move on Saturday afternoon, adding wide receiver Keevan Lucas and waiving linebacker Steven Daniels.

Lucas was with the Eagles on a tryout at rookie minicamp this spring after going undrafted out of Tulsa.

With the Eagles, he'll reunite with fourth-string quarterback Dane Evans. At Tulsa, the 5-9, 195-pound Lucas was a favorite target of Evans'. In four years at Tulsa, Lucas caught 240 passes for 3,250 yards and 32 touchdowns.

In 2014 as a sophomore, when he caught 101 passes for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns. After playing just four games in 2015, he rebounded as a senior. Last season, he caught 81 passes for 1,180 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Lucas reportedly had a rough time finding a team after the draft thanks to some medical concerns. The Rams and the Bills said they wanted to sign him but rescinded their offers.

Daniels was with the Eagles in the spring, was cut, and then brought back. He had been back with the team only since July 26.

The Eagles roster is full at 90 players.
