Eagles Injury Update: Bennie Logan (groin) Still Not Practicing

Eagles starting defensive tackle Bennie Logan (groin) will miss practice on Wednesday and is still considered “week to week,” head coach Doug Pederson said.

Logan was questionably listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game against the Vikings and was unsurprisingly inactive.

Early in this week, Logan still seems like a longshot to play, especially because of a move the Eagles made on Monday.

Even with Ron Brooks heading to the Injured Reserve with a ruptured quad tendon, the Eagles filled the roster spot with a defensive lineman instead of a defensive back. They claimed Taylor Hart off waivers from the 49ers. Hart, of course, was drafted by the Eagles and spent the last two years and this offseason in Philadelphia.

“Well right now, with the injury to Bennie, and you’re down to three (defensive tackles),” Pederson said. “As much rotating as we do, we felt the need to bring a fourth in.”

The only other Eagles player who won’t practice on Wednesday is linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (hamstring strain), who is also considered to be “week to week.”

Meanwhile, Mychal Kendricks (ribs), Jordan Matthews (knee tendinitis), Leodis McKelvin (hamstring), Jason Peters (hamstring) will all practice on Wednesday.
