Eagles fans couldn't get enough of Carson Wentz following his impressive NFL debut Sunday, so they had the natural reaction to one game and went out and bought his jersey in waves.
Per Tim McManus of ESPN.com, Wentz has the highest-selling jersey in the league since making his debut Sunday, according to the sports apparal website Fanatics, which powers NFL.com's store.
The No. 11 Eagles jersey has outsold the jerseys of superstars like Odell Beckham, Jr., Tom Brady, Antonio Brown and fellow rookie quarterback Dak Prescott jerseys during that timeframe.
Wentz had a statistically-historic debut for a rookie quarterback, completing 22 of 37 passes for 278 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in a 29-10 win over the Browns.
NFL jerseys certainly don't come cheap, but Wentz's performance in just one game was enough to convince a lot of fans that his jersey is a safe purchase. [[393267511, C]]

Anyway, Wentz already had the highest-selling Eagles jersey of the offseason, according to McManus. But when the Eagles return home to face the Steelers Sept. 25 expect to see even more Wentz jerseys spread throughout Lincoln Financial Field.
