CSN's NFL Power Rankings: Cowboys Claim Top Spot, Eagles Rise

With Week 10 in the rearview mirror, all 32 teams have now entered the back half of their schedules.

After taking in all the action from Week 10, which included everything from heavyweight showdowns to underdog victories, here's CSN's NFL Power Rankings for Week 11, compiled by Derrick Gunn and John Boruk. Each provides their individual rankings, and we use the average to determine the overall rank. The number in parentheses is their personal ranking.

1. Dallas (8-1)
The one thing Eagles fans don’t want to hear … Cowboys are legit! - Gunn (1)

First time Cowboys have won eight straight games since their Super Bowl season in 1977. - Boruk (1)

2. Seattle (6-2-1)
Showed me a lot with that win at New England, and the 'Hawks are starting to get healthy. - Gunn (2)

Survived September and October. Now the 'Hawks are starting to roll. - Boruk (2)

Philadelphia Eagles

3. New England (7-2)
Tough loss at home to the Seahawks, will bounce back this week at San Francisco. - Gunn (4)

Still the team to beat in the AFC. If it gets past Denver in Week 15, it should run the table. - Boruk (3)

3. Kansas City (7-2)
Chiefs have won five in a row — big reason why is they’re plus-14 in takeaway/giveaway. - Gunn (3)

A bland offense with an opportunistic defense has won the Chiefs 17 of their last 19 regular-season games … wow. - Boruk (4)

5. Oakland (7-2)
Raiders play Texans next Monday night in Mexico City, don’t bet against Derek Carr — he’s 3-0 career-wise in prime-time games. - Gunn (5)

Raiders have won three straight, and now coming off a bye week with their next three at home … well, Mexico City to start. - Boruk (5)

6. Denver (7-3)
Broncos' record looks nice but turning the ball over six times in last three games is bound to catch up to them. - Gunn (6)

Am I suppose to now get excited about a team that returned a blocked extra point to win a game? - Boruk (6)

7. Washington (5-3-1)
'Skins have four wins against teams that had winning records before they played them. - Gunn (8)

Had they not blown the game in Detroit, the Redskins would be unbeaten over their last seven games. - Boruk (7)

8. Arizona (4-4-1)
If the Cards' offense starts playing like it's capable of and catches up to its defense, look out. - Gunn (7)

Now that they can’t play the Niners anymore, we’ll see what the Cardinals are really made of. - Boruk (11)

9. N.Y. Giants (6-3)
G-Men had 122 yards rushing vs. Bengals. If they can get that weekly, they’ll be difficult to beat. - Gunn (9)

I had to pound a few beverages to get through their Monday Nighter regardless of how close it was. - Boruk (10)

10. Houston (6-3)
A legit contender at home (5-0), pretender on road (1-3). - Gunn (12)

This team wins uuugggllly! It has been outscored by 27 points despite a 5-0 record at home. - Boruk (8)

11. Atlanta (6-4)
Run defense got exposed in Philly. - Gunn (13)

Doesn’t matter who it plays, it's guaranteed to give up at least 23 points. A bye week saves the D. - Boruk (9)

11. Detroit (5-4)
Lions have trailed in all nine games in fourth quarter but have found a way to win four of last five. - Gunn (10)

First place in the NFC North while sitting on the coach. Three of Lions' next four are at home, starting with the Jags. - Boruk (12)

13. Eagles (5-4)
Been in every game this year, just have to learn how to finish on the road. - Gunn (11)

Marshall Harris says the Birds are going 8-0 at the Linc. Sounds like I need to make a bet for lunch at Arby’s. - Boruk (13)

14. Baltimore (5-4)
Defense rock solid ranked No. 1, but 25th-ranked offense has to improve. - Gunn (14)

Feel free to hide your eyes when watching any team from the AFC North. Not sure how Ravens win in Dallas. - Boruk (14)

15. Pittsburgh (4-5)
Losers of four straight and Big Ben is calling his teammates out. - Gunn (15)

Where’s the D in the Steel City? Defense … and discipline. Steelers get a break this week with the Browns. - Boruk (15)

16. Minnesota (5-4)
Like Paul Simon sang, “slip slidin’ away." - Gunn (16)

Nice to see Sam Bradford toss his helmet on the sideline … which traveled farther than some of his passes lately. - Boruk (17)

17. Miami (5-4)
Balance has propelled it to four-game win streak. Jay Ajayi has 608 yards rushing last four games and Ryan Tannehill has no picks over the same stretch. - Gunn (18)

Hard to rank a team 16th that’s won four in a row. Tannehill hasn’t thrown a pick since Oct. 9. - Boruk (16)

18. Tennessee (5-5)
Keep an eye on the Titans over their last four games. Marcus Mariota has 11 touchdowns compared to two interceptions, and overall DeMarco Murray has 930 yards rushing. - Gunn (17)

Aside from Dak and Zeke, Mariota and DeMarco are the best QB-RB punch in the league right now. - Boruk (18)

19. Green Bay (4-5)
Giving up too many big plays has led to its big demise. - Gunn (22)

Not sure how much Swiss cheese Wisconsins eat, but that’s exactly what the Packers' defense is made of. - Boruk (20)

20. Buffalo (4-5)
The good news: the Bills have scored exactly 25 points in each of last three games. The bad news: they’ve lost all three. - Gunn (21)

Has Rob Ryan ever coached a top-10 defense? Buffalo has scored 25 points the last three weeks and the Bills are 0-3. - Boruk (21)

21. Cincinnati (3-5-1)
Marvin Lewis has some explaining to do for this season-long mess. - Gunn (24)

One win in its last five games. That reflection in the mirror is not the look of a playoff team. - Boruk (19)

21. San Diego (4-6)
When will the Chargers learn a game is four full quarters? - Gunn (20)

The NFL’s best team … if they stopped the game after three quarters. Haunted by Kiko Alonzo’s fourth-quarter pick-six. - Boruk (23)

23. New Orleans (4-5)
Losing to Denver on a two-point conversion stings, but Saints are still very much in NFC South race. - Gunn (23)

A rematch with Carolina. Saints and Panthers combined for 79 points in Week 6. That might keep me awake this Thursday night. - Boruk (22)

24. Indianapolis (4-5)
Too much offensive talent to be sub-.500. Three of the next four at home including showdown with Texans Dec. 11. - Gunn (19)

I still think Colts catch the Titans and win the AFC South. They can sweep the Titans on Sunday. - Boruk (26)

25. Tampa Bay (4-5)
Bucs are an entertaining team to watch, just not a winning team. - Gunn (26)

Just not a believer … yet. Jameis Winston should get throttled in Kansas City this week. - Boruk (24)

25. Carolina (3-6)
If it weren’t for bad luck, it would have no luck at all. - Gunn (25)

I’d rather watch Cam Newton's postgame press conferences — about the only time he’s been dressed for success. - Gunn (25)

27. Los Angeles (4-5)
The Jared Goff era begins. - Gunn (27)

If you truly enjoy watching a 12-10 game, then the Rams are your team. - Boruk (27)

28. Chicago (2-7)
Da Bears!!! Fan base is ready to run Jay Cutler out of town. - Gunn (29)

Alshon Jeffrey has been suspended for four games … as if the Bears couldn’t be any more unwatchable. - Boruk (30)

29. N.Y. Jets (3-7)
A year ago they were one win away from playoffs. Shocking they now have third-worst record in AFC. - Gunn (28)

Bryce Petty and the Heartbreakers. That’s one musical reference DGunn won’t get. - Boruk (29)

30. Jacksonville (2-7)
The clock is ticking on Gus Bradley’s tenure. - Gunn (30)

It's just six points away from being the Cleveland Browns. - Boruk (30)

31.  San Francisco (1-8)
Chip Kelly had never lost eight in a row — college or pro, until now. - Gunn (31)

The Niners have lost eight straight, one shy of the franchise record. When will those power shakes kick in? - Boruk (31)

32. Cleveland (0-10)
My bold prediction: Browns will win one game this season. - Gunn (32)

The Browns' next three are all at home … the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame may have a larger turnout. - Boruk (32)
