It was, cool gorgeous day for competing in the 17th Philadelphia Marathon.

One guy beat his girlfriend from Bryn Anthyn in the race and then promptly proposed. It was one of the more memorable moments of the day according to race officials. Her finger was a little bit swollen from the run, but she managed to get the ring on!

The Philadelphia Marathon's website was down most of the morning, making results and information hard to come by.
