Eagles Backs May Share Field Sunday

McCoy and Westbrook could be on the field at the same time

Forget the Wildcat -- bring on the two-back set.

Never mind Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick. The Philadelphia Eagles may want running backs LeSean McCoy and
Brian Westbrook in the same backfield instead.

"That would put some heat on the defense," offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said on Thursday. "Are they going to play base, are they going to play nickel? It would force the defense to make some choices."

The Eagles drafted "Shady" McCoy in the second round of April's draft to back up B-West, their star runner the better part of this decade. In Shady's first start, a 34-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 27, he rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown as Westbrook sat out with an injury.

Westbrook was back at practice after the bye week but Mornhinweg said McCoy would get some work against Tampa Bay Sunday.
