Brian Westbrook returned to action Sunday against the Chargers.

The Eagles star running back was sidelined the past two games after suffering a concussion in Week 7 against the Redskins. He was also hampered by an ankle injury that limited his time in practice this week.

B-West might be playing but the same can’t be said for the Eagles star tackle Jason Peters. The 340-pounder who would normally be opening holes for B-West missed the San Diego game with an ankle injury leaving a gaping hole on the Eagles' offensive line.

Todd Herremans will slide over to left tackle to replace Peters while Nick Cole will start at left guard with Stacy Andrews at right guard, according to the Philadelphia Eagles Web site.

Other notable inactives included linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee), free safety Quintin Demps (ankle) and cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu.

Wide receiver Kevin Curtis remained out of the Birds lineup, as he still hasn’t recovered from knee surgery that has cost him most of the season.

Kevin Kolb (third QB), running back P.J. Hill and guard Mike McGlynn rounded out the inactive list for Week 10.
