There is one record that could be broken before the completion of Game 5 -- the coldest recorded temperature in World Series history.

The current record is 38 degrees recorded in Cleveland (no surprise there) during the 1997 Fall Classic.

The game-time temp for Wednesday's first pitch between the Rays and Phillies is expected to be 41 degrees.

The temperature could drop to 38 degrees by 10 p.m. when the game is expected to end assuming there aren't extra innings. If it goes longer the temperature could drop even further.

NBC 10 meteorologist Dave Warren said the temperature during the game will fluctuate depending on the winds. If the wind calms down the temperature will drop quicker.

Snow even fell during Game 3 between the Marlins and Indians on that October, 23 night, according to NOAA. There is no snow in the forecast tonight, but with how this Game has been so far don't be surprised if you see a flurry.
