Sixers Add Rebounding Muscle

Rashad Jones-Jennings added to roster

The 76ers added depth to their training camp roster Wednesday by signing forward Rashad Jones-Jennings.

The free agent was a rebounding machine in college. He lead the nation with 13.1 boards per game during his senior season at Arkansas-Little Rock.

The 25-year-old went undrafted in the 2007 NBA Draft. He played last season oversees with FC Bayern München of the German League, averaging 8.1 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.

J.J. looks like an outside shot to make the Sixers roster. The team currently carries six experienced forwards (Elton Brand, Marreese Speights, Jason Smith, Stromile Swift, Rodney Carney and Thad Young) so unless JJ really makes a splash he could be looking at playing in the developmental lead.

The Sixers training camp roster now stands at 18 players.
