For the first time in the Rose Bowl’s 90-year history, fans will get to visit the locker rooms, run through the tunnel and tread on the hallowed ground that has hosted notorious football players and international athletes.

Not only will fans get to tour the UCLA Bruins current locker room. They’ll now have access to the original 1922 Bruins locker room, which may be surprisingly small for some fans.

"We have used this for storage so this is the first time we actually opened it and actually get to go inside," said Kayla Kilpatrick, Rose Bowl tour coordinator.

The old locker room will eventually be used to store memorabilia for the tour.

"We actually found a lot of artifacts and old photographs we're going to hang on the walls to make it more like a museum feel," Kilpatrick said.

The tour will also cover the post-game press conference room and the press box, which offers a breathtaking view of the field from above.

And, of course, there’s a point in the tour when fans get to run onto the field and maybe throw a pass or attempt a field goal.

The 1 1/2-hour tour offers a chance for fans to add their own memories to the lifetime of memories that live in the historic stadium.

Tours begin Saturday and will be offered Thursdays through Sundays year-round (except on game days).

The price of the tour is $17.50 for adults and $14.50 for children. Group rates of $12 per person will be offered seven days a week for groups of 20 or more. Education tours are $9 per student.
