Rollins, Phils Slam the Cards

Jimmy Rollins hit a go-ahead grand slam and had a career-high five RBI as the Phillies cut down the Cardinals 14-6 Saturday.

Shane Victorino went four for four with a homer in the matchup of division leaders.

Rollins connected off reliever Jason Motte (3-4) in the sixth to give Philadelphia a 7-4 lead. Victorino followed with a homer.

Rodrigo Lopez (3-0) allowed four runs -- three earned -- and 10 hits over six innings. The veteran right-hander likely would be the odd man out when recently signed Pedro Martinez is ready to join the Phillies' rotation.

Cardinals centerfielder Rick Ankiel sported an awesome moustache as he hit a solo homer and made the play of the game by robbing Jayson Werth of a two-run shot with an outstanding catch. Ryan Ludwick also went deep for the NL Central leaders.

Cardinals starter Kyle Lohse -- a former Phillie -- allowed three runs and four hits in only four innings. He threw 90 pitches in his shortest outing since returning from the disabled list on July 12.

With two outs in the sixth, J-Roll drove an 0-1 pitch into the right field seats for his second career slam and first hit in nine at-bats with the bases packed this season. The 2007 NL MVP got a curtain call from the sellout crowd after circling the bases.

Rollins, batting just .237, lined an RBI double in the eighth to complete his big day. Victorino followed with a two-run single and Ryan Howard doubled in
two more to make it 14-5.

The game was delayed a few minutes in the seventh because a fan pointed a green laser toward Albert Pujols in the batter's box. Security workers tried to identify the fan but had no luck.

The Phillies jumped on Lohse for three two-out runs in the first. Raul Ibanez had an RBI single and Pedro Feliz hit a two-run single.

The NL East-leading Phillies have now won 16 of 19.

The rubber game of the series is Sunday as the Phillies and Cards both try to stay a top thier divisions.
