Behind another quality start from rookie lefty J.A. Happ the Phillies beat the Florida Marlins 5-0 to win their eighth straight game.

Happ went to 7-0 this season after hooking the fish. He also posted his sixth-straight quality start and now

The 26-year-old southpaw allowed five hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings dropping his ERA to 2.68.

He made it tougher for the Phillies to offer him up as trade bait. Happ's name was mentioned as trade bait to try and pry Roy Halladay from the Toronto Blue Jays.

As for the action between the lines, the Phillies extended their longest winning streak since 2006 to eight games by beating the Fish.

Happ also brought his lumber as he singled with two outs to start a three-run rally in the second inning.

Jimmy Rollins added three hits by the third and came within a home run of the cycle, while Raul Ibanez doubled home two runs to help the Phillies complete their second three-game sweep in Miami this season.

The Phightins now won eight in a row in Miami while outscoring the Marlins 49-18.

They also extended their lead over Florida to seven games and now lead second-place Atlanta by 6.5 games.
