Obama Won't Attend Finals Game: Chicago Mayor's Office

President Barack Obama won't be in the house when the Flyers skate in the Stanley Cup Final in Chicago Saturday night.

"I'm told security would be such a nightmare they've decided to ditch the idea."

That's Jackie Heard, spokesperson for Mayor Daley, answering the question of whether the President would attend Game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs on Saturday.

"Obviously things could change," Heard said. "But I doubt it."

The first family is in Chicago for the holiday weekend. Although there's been much speculation about their plans, Obama has only one scheduled event so far -- an appearance on Memorial Day at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
