The days of cozying up to outlets on the floor of Philadelphia International Airport are over for consumers of this new product.
San Diego-based Tricopian just installed12 FuelRod SwapBox kiosks across the airport that allow travelers to purchase a portable charging unit for $20.
"The airport today is kind of a crossroads where people gather and spend money and shop," said Tricopian co-founder Joe Yeagley. "Airports have transformed themselves into a place where they transfer to planes and into an area where you can relax and do some shopping."
