Sixers power forward -- all around best-known player, former All Star and $80-million man -- Elton Brand is on the shelf with a hamstring injury.
An MRI confirmed the injury, according to a Sixers statement.
Brand didn't travel with his Sixers teammates to Detroit for Friday's game and is currently listed as day-to-day.
