Phillies MVP pitcher Cole Hamels made a trip back to his home state of California to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday.

Hollywood, as he is called by his teammates, made a quick guest appearance to help dunk Ellen’s executive producer in the show’s dunk tank.

For every person dunked in the month of November, $10,000 will be donated to an organization who helps put food on the tables of families in need.

Hamels missed the target on his first pitch, but hit the bullseye the second go around.
