Eagles Trade Brown for Draft Pick

The Eagles unloaded their longest-tenured wide receiver Monday.

The traded off wide receiver Reggie Brown to Tampa Bay for a sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft.

That sixth-round pick is a big downgrade from the second-round pick the Birds spent to pick Brown in the 2005 Draft.

Fans expected Brown to be a No. 1 target for Donovan McNabb. Brown never really lived up to that hype. His best season was in 2006 when he caught 46 balls for 816 yards and eight TDs.

For his career, the 29-year-old wideout has 177 receptions, 2,574 yards and 17 touchdowns.

The deal was announced by both teams Monday, the fourth day of free agency.
