Eagles tailgaters don’t need to fret if they forget anything on game day -- the Tailgate Rescue Squad is there to help.

As the Eagles go through their pregame rituals inside Lincoln Financial Field the fans go through their pregame tailgate rituals out in the parking lots.

NBCPhiladelphia.com met up with one of the best-organized and fun tailgate parties out in the trenches of Eagles fandom.

One Crazy Fan’s Tailgate Rescue Squad lays out a great spread every home game to bring together Eagles fans. The “Squad” car is a converted emergency vehicle hooked up with plenty of storage and sound system that blasts rock right up until game time.

Delaware County’s Mike Young (the “Crazy Fan” himself) told us what it was all about.

“To quote another great tailgater, Joe Kind, ‘this is the last greatest American neighborhood,’” said Young.

So what can you expect in Young’s neighborhood?

He has everything a tailgater could need including tents, Sternos, bungee cords, Band-Aids, extra propane, charcoal, you name it -- he has it. And, he will help out those tailgaters that might have forgotten their tailgating necessities by lending some of his many supplies.

And talking necessities, what about the food?

Young spends Friday shopping and Saturday cooking to make sure everything is a go for game day. The menu is wide ranging but includes tailgate standards like chips and hot dogs. He even invested in a hot dog roller this season to make sure the dogs will stay warm without having to light up the grill.

Young basically has it all and he also has plenty of help from fans like Mary Chrupcala

The mother of four (and grandmother of seven) was born and bred on Birds football and loves the tailgating as much of games.

“I just love it,” she said.

She spends hours before game day getting food prepared for the party.

Chrupcala’s Eagles days go back to the old 700 Level at the Vet and so does one of her pregame rituals. Every Saturday before a game she does her finger and toe nails in Eagles green designs, she said.

And of course she wears an array of “good luck” charm bracelets just in case the Birds need an extra boost.
